"Whoa, this is Fred the Fire Horse. Hope you and your family have a safe and fire-free holiday season.
It is almost January and I want you to know that the New Bern Firemen's Museum big fundraiser is January 17, 2020 at the dry and newly renovated New Bern Convention Center. It's called, Barbecue and Blue Jeans. Lots of barbecue, chicken and all the fixin's. Hope they have some apples for me. I love apples. This annual event keeps our museum in fine shape...just like me.
This year we have a Scottish Bagpipe Honor Guard starting off the festivities, two bands and lots of fun. Don't forget to wear your cowboy boots and jeans!
Tickets are $30 dollars which includes all the food, refreshments and a night of fire-free fun. Stop by the New Bern Firemen's Museum on Broad Street between Hancock and Middle Streets to pick up your ticket.
